Why doesn't baby milk have a score?

Food intended for children under 2 is a category of its own, governed by strict standards. Young children have nutritional needs that differ a great deal from those of adults, so the usual way of assessing products simply doesn't apply.

For that reason, Mira does not assign a rating to products made specifically for children aged 0 to 2, including baby milk and infant formula. These foods are formulated to meet the norms of infant nutrition, and judging them on the same scale as everyday food wouldn't be meaningful.

For questions about feeding your child, it's best to follow the guidance of a pediatrician.
